Guidelines for final papers

Once the paper or poster abstract has been revised according to the reviewrs’ comments and to the guidelines described here, please proceed as follows for submitting the camera ready paper for final consideration

HOT TO SEND CAMERA READY SHORT/LONG PAPERS

a. Prepare material

  • Papers need to adhere to the conference guidelines and to Springer LNCS format
  • The exact number of pages allotted to each submission format (i.e., 6 for short papers, 12 for long paper) must be fully used
  • The file should not be anonymous but should contain full author information
  • You will need to save your file both in source format (the one you used for creating the file, for instance  word) and in pdf. The PDF file must be named submission.pdf
  • Along with the paper, you will also need to upload the copyright form, filled in and signed. The empty form can be found here
  • Finally, you will need to prepare a detailed revision letter explaining how all reviewers’ comments one by one were addressed in the revision. In your explanation, please point to specific parts of the revised text so it will be easy to find the portion of text in which you made the described improvement. Please, notice that the revisions will be checked and will be sent back for refinements in case the reviewers’ comments are not addressed convincingly

b. Upload material

  • Make sure you have 4 files: paper source file and paper pdf together in a zip folder; revision explanation and copyright form in pdf
  • Use the  https://www.softconf.com/d/pt2014 website with your usual credentials; when logged in, look for the ‘SHORT/LONG PAPERS- Final submission page’
  • You will be able to modify your submitted revision until the deadline

c. Register

  • Oral paper presenters must register to the conference by March 14. This is conditional upon inclusion in the proceeding book. One person cannot make more than one oral presentation.
